Bajaj Auto has announced a significant increase in its total vehicle sales for the month of November, reflecting a robust performance in both domestic and international markets.
Overall Sales Performance
According to a statement released by the Pune-based company, total vehicle sales surged by 31 per cent, reaching 4,03,003 units in November compared to 3,06,719 units sold during the same period last year.
Domestic Sales Surge
Domestic sales, encompassing both two-wheelers and commercial vehicles, witnessed remarkable growth, soaring by 69 per cent to 2,57,744 units. This substantial increase is compared to 1,52,883 units sold in November 2022.
Decline in Exports
However, exports experienced a slight decline, dropping by 6 per cent to 1,45,259 units compared to 1,53,836 units shipped overseas in November last year.
Segment-wise Performance
- Two-Wheelers: Domestic sales of two-wheelers saw a staggering growth of 77 per cent, reaching 2,18,597 units compared to 1,23,657 units in November 2022. Conversely, exports of two-wheelers fell by 6 per cent year-on-year to 1,30,451 units.
- Commercial Vehicles: The total sales of commercial vehicles stood at 53,955 units in November 2023.
Total Two-Wheeler Sales
The cumulative sales of two-wheelers for November 2023 amounted to 3,49,048 units, marking a notable increase of 33 per cent compared to the same month last year.
