Courtyard Concept
At the heart of the home lies a double-height courtyard, offering panoramic views and fostering a connection with nature. This central space acts as a unifying element, linking various areas of the house and providing a serene retreat for the family. The living area seamlessly extends into the courtyard, blurring the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living.
Spacious Interiors
The interior layout of Casa de Silva is characterized by spacious volumes, accentuated by an open-plan design. A large hall serves as the communal hub, encompassing the dining, pantry, and TV lounge areas. Visual and physical connectivity with the garden enhances the sense of openness, creating an illusion of expansive space within the confined footprint of the home. Stack ventilation through the courtyard ensures natural cooling, while thermally controlled bedrooms offer comfort and privacy.
