Zomato-owned Blinkit has announced a new service that aims to deliver printouts to your doorstep within 11 minutes, catering to the needs of parents, professionals, and individuals alike.

Swift Printout Delivery

Blinkit, previously known as Grofers, has unveiled its rapid printout delivery service, promising quick delivery times to address urgent printing needs. Acquired by Zomato for a significant sum, Blinkit’s rapid printout service is now available in select areas.

Jitesh Goel, a product representative at Blinkit, highlighted the convenience of the service, especially for those without access to a printer at home. He emphasized that Blinkit’s swift delivery and affordable rates make it an ideal solution for individuals requiring printouts on short notice. Users simply need to upload the file, and Blinkit will handle the rest, ensuring prompt delivery. Additionally, uploaded files are promptly deleted after delivery, maintaining user privacy.

Cross-Leverage Strategy

The introduction of the printout delivery service aligns with Zomato’s strategy to leverage its customer base for Blinkit and vice versa. Zomato’s Founder and CEO, Deepinder Goyal, expressed plans to integrate the delivery fleet back-ends of both companies to enhance delivery efficiency.

Business Progress and Expansion

Despite initial losses, Blinkit has reported a decline in losses over recent months, indicating positive business developments. The company has also made strategic decisions, such as shutting down unviable dark stores, to optimize its operations. With these adjustments, Blinkit has rapidly expanded its presence, reaching 20% of Zomato’s food delivery Gross Order Value (GOV) within just six months, despite operating in fewer than 15 cities.
